Today’s question comes from Karen Giroux – “Ryan Knapp, I have sort of a follow up question to David B. Hayes “how fast should my pace be” question from a couple weeks ago. My training schedule is pretty consistently 45-1:00 easy runs right now, with the TRX and Spinning classes that I teach added in. How hard can my cycling classes be? I’m doing HIIT Cycling tonight, but I don’t want to mess up my rebuilding of an easy base. (I also sort of think that zone 3 on the bike is more like running zone 2…but I could just be making that up….)I guess the question is: “How hard/easy should my NON-running efforts be right now?” Thanks!”
